- The Trailer Sailor
- TRAILERSAILOR.COM is the most popular destination on the internet for
the small boat sailor. Its messageboards are extremely active, seeing
over 2000 visitors and 200-400 new messages a day. The most popular discussion
topics relate directly to purchasing boats and equipment.
- Cruise the Sea of Cortez
- CRUISECORTEZ.COM is the most extensive website on the net for
cruising, sailing and diving the Gulf of California, including Baja and the Pacific
mainland coast of Mexico. It is not just a "log of our adventures", but
rather a complete online guide to the area.
- Advertising Rates
- A 466 x 60 pixel ad costs $10 per thousand ad views (which is at
the extreme low end of the internet advertising rate spectrum, particularly for
such a targeted reader base). Right now the CruiseCortez and
TrailerSailor sites are averaging about 20,000 advertising views per
day. The banner rotation software can be configured so that we can
control how many views any given ad is apportioned and what pages it
appeas on, thus we can precisely control your ad costs. Each
advertiser can access realtime reports that show the number of ad views
and the number of ad clicks. Billing is done on monthly cycles, and
can be charged directly to a credit card if you so choose.

- The banners are normally 468 x 60 pixels. Animation is allowed, but
we would prefer that the size stayed under 15k.
If you do not currently have a banner ad, we would be happy to design
one for you (for a modest fee). Having multiple banners is also fine
(though they will be tracked separately).
